Life is getting busier. We have to go faster and do more in less time. We rarely get the chance to switch off and feel at peace. Our bodies weren’t designed to cope with the constant stimulation and pressure that 21st century life presents us with, so it’s no wonder that stress has become a modern epidemic affecting over 70% of US citizens.
Stress affects our sleep, our libido and our physical health. It’s making us sick and it’s not just affecting us on a personal level. We only need to turn on the news to see how our collective lack of inner peace affects the outer world. Cruelty, violence, war, poverty, destruction of our natural resources.

Yet collectively we have the power to create a more peaceful world where serenity, happiness and connection are the new normal!
The good news is that according to the Mayo Clinic and Oprah Winfrey website, it only takes three minutes of meditation a day to start feeling a difference in your life. I believe that those three minutes could change the world.
But I know that cultivating inner peace every day can be a challenge.
