In a similar way shopping addicts feel relaxed when they shop, and for more pleasure they tend to shop more and more, and just like any other addiction they are never satisfied.
If seen on scientific level, shopping results in secretion of endorphin and dopamine which is similar to getting high.
Human brain feels pleasure when these are secreted and thus addicts tend to shop more.
Experts believe that factors like material possession in childhood and teenage years or feeling of competition with neighbor or another friend can also lead to this mental state.
