I think it’s awesome that this post has so many suggestions about how to cheer up when you’re feeling down.
They all probably work wonderfully for those who suffer from moderate depression or are just feeling down.
The realistic aspects/tips were great, especially the tips that encouraged regular exercise, eating healthier snacks, going outside, keeping up with bodily maintenance/ cleanliness, and also cleaning up one’s area to make it seem more inviting.
However some of these tips wouldn’t necessarily always work for someone who is severely depressed, which made the tip to ask for help so much more impactful.
It’s great to see more awareness of mental illness and difficult times on the Internet.
