Self-esteem refers to a person’s overall evaluation of his or her self-worth. Simply put, it’s how you feel and think about yourself, and this can either be positive or negative.
The more positive you feel about yourself, the higher your self-esteem and vice versa.
Self-esteem dictates the way you live your life, the decisions you make and the way you view others.
While it’s natural to experience lack of confidence once in a while, those with low self-esteem feel inadequate, unworthy, unsatisfied and unhappy with themselves most of the time.
