How you see the world creates that reality. How we see the world can affect how we live and our experiences in it. This is why it’s important to be mindful of our thoughts and not project what we don’t want for ourselves onto others. But how do you see your life up to this point? Hopefully with these questions you will begin to think about not so much how you see it now, but begin to think how you will direct yourself from now on.
What does your reflection tell you about your goals and ambitions?
You may feel as if you are not living to your true potential and maybe that you could even be able to do a lot more. You may be passionate about something, but it may not appear as natural as it may for other people.
This is the part where you involve yourself more into that thing that you are passionate about. Learn more about it, take classes, do research. As you do this, more of the natural tendencies will be awoken along the way.
When you look into the mirror, do you see someone who is happy and content?
We should not be satisfied with our lives until we get to a point where we are content. We need to be able to reflect back on ourselves and be proud of what we have accomplished.
The goal doesn’t have to always be to reach a maximum state of happiness, but rather, happiness as the byproduct of contentment.
One way that you can evaluate your level of contentment is by looking at your reflection in the mirror. If you see someone who looks happy and content, then you are on your way to achieving this state.
What will your reflection tell your children and grandchildren if they ask about today’s world?
Maybe not everything you have done, experienced, or currently doing is the best thing. But there are a lot of lessons as a result.
These are the lessons you will one day be sharing with those who will come after you start growing old. Will you have great stories and lessons to tell? How is the world today, and what is the role that you have been playing.
Perhaps this means working on bettering yourself, which will one day help the world as part of the collective. And this better world is one where your kids and grandkids will be living.
In what ways are you making a difference in the world? How can others see it too?
In what ways are you making a difference in the world?
You can make a difference in the world and help others. You do not have to be famous or rich. You just need to care about someone else’s well-being. Think about what motivates you, and then choose a cause that resonates with your personal interests.
You can write, talk, sing, paint, or self-express in many ways that pertain to your own personality. And it’s never too late to start following whatever makes you happy because as you do this, you will start to have an effect on others around you.

How are you treating yourself well so that others treat you well too?
It’s so easy for us to ignore our own needs and focus on everyone else. But this is not the way to true happiness. We need to take care of ourselves. And we need to take care of ourselves so that we can take care of others.
What kind of person are you when no one else is looking or when there’s no expectation for a particular behavior or response?
When you’re alone, the true you is right there for you to see. When you are with others, are you the person you really are, or are you the person you are trying to portray?
It is important for people to get out of their comfort zones and know what it is like to be someone else – both good and bad. But we should not judge or condemn others for being who they are but instead, embrace them for their differences.
When did you last take time to just be with yourself?
It’s important to take time a day to just be with ourselves. It can be difficult to find the time and space for this, but it is worth it.
Here are some ways that you can spend quality time with yourself:
- Meditation – sitting still and focusing on your breathing
- Journaling
- A walk in nature or around the block
- Reading a book
- Enjoying some mindless TV or music
- Spending time with pets
Past experiences have a significant impact on who we become as adults. They can be good or bad, and while we can’t change the past especially the bad and ugly, we need to learn to live with it and only take what we learned from them. We need to learn to let the past negative experiences go. If we don’t, it can influence the decisions we make in the present and future.
Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.
