The 5 Laws Of Karma You Probably Haven’t Heard About

5 Laws of Karma

What is Karma?

You’ve probably heard this phrase before – “karma is real”. But what exactly is karma? Karma is a term most notably within Hinduism and Buddhism that refers to the cause and effect principle where a person’s past, present intentions and actions have the ability to influence his or her future destiny.

In other words, when your intentions and actions are good, you’re likely to create good karma and future with more happiness, and vice versa.

Your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are powerful. You have the power to create happiness or misery for yourself. When you are loving and kind to others, your karma will certainly return to you in the most beautiful way unexpectedly.

You’ll have this magic blanket of protection always around you, and incredible things will happen in your life in ways that you may not always understand.

However, if you’re the type of person who somehow enjoys it when others are hurting, then you’re just creating bad karma for yourself. You’ll never be happy if you hurt the people around you.  But the big question here is, do you know why?

Because we are all one.

You and I came from the same source, it really doesn’t even matter what you call it. And all of us will all go back to that source. Therefore, when you kick that street boy or look down upon the people you consider poor, ugly or inferior in any way, you’re only doing all that to yourself.

Karma is a universal law that treats everyone equally in a sense. It teaches you and makes your world perception and knowledge more complete. To understand other people’s suffering, the universe allows you to experience life from their perspective as well.

what is karma

This is important so that you understand the experiences and pain that others have felt because of you. In other words, a karmic experience gives you the opportunity to reflect on your mistakes and correct them.

Remember that the purpose of karma isn’t revenge, but to help you become a better individual.

So, is your fate sealed, or can you still change your accrued karma? You can change the direction of your karma by doing good deeds from now on.

You may already be reaping what you sowed, but you still can recreate your own destiny. You have the free will to do good or evil.

No matter how bad you think you’ve been, you can always choose to start afresh. A good starting point is feeling genuine regret for your past actions, and asking for forgiveness from the people you’ve hurt.

After that, practice kindness and love to all, and accept people for who they are. It’s the only way to make this world a better place and live a long, happy and healthy life.

Karma is understood by some but generally misunderstood by many.

The following 5 laws of karma are ones you may not have heard of before, but understanding these on a deeper level can have the potential to change your life completely as it started changing mine…

1. The Great Law

  • “As you sow, so shall you reap.” This is also known as the “Law of Cause and Effect.”
  • If what we want is happiness, peace, love, and friendship, then we should BE happy, peaceful, loving and a true friend.
  • Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us.

2. The Law of Creation

  • Life doesn’t just happen. It requires our participation.
  • We are one with the Universe, both inside and out.
  • Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state.
  • Be yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have in your life.

3. The Law of Humility

  • You can’t change something if you refuse to accept it.
  • If what we see is an enemy or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative, then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence.

4. The Law of Growth

  • “Wherever you go, there you are.”
  • For us to grow in Spirit, it is we who must change, and not the people, places or things around us.
  • The only given we have in our lives is ourselves, and that is the only factor we have control over.
  • When we change who and what we are within our hearts, our lives follow suit and change too.

5. The Law of Responsibility

  • Whenever there is something wrong in my life, there is something wrong in me.
  • We mirror what surrounds us, and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth.
  • We must take responsibility for what is in our life.

Where does the Law of Attraction fit into all this?

The Law of Attraction is nothing new, and it doesn’t even matter what you call it. This is just a newer term that most people recognize now and can easily identify.

But in essence, just like how we understand Karma, we can attract happiness or misery through how we utilize our consciousness through our thinking. Whether we have positive or negative thoughts is simply a way to attract the kind of energy that matches that same frequency. This comes to us manifested in many forms.

Some people cannot make the Law of Attraction work. And it’s often because they are missing a very important piece. Click here to Learn what the “Missing Ingredient” is.
