Law of Attraction Visualization

Visualization is Not Enough to Manifest Things When You’re Missing This Key Component

As once said by Helen Keller, “Ideas without action are useless.” This is an excellent quote that focuses on the importance of acting on your dreams.
It’s the basis of all versions of success.

An often typical misunderstanding between law of attraction fans is that they can manifest anything they want with this law of attraction with no effort on their part. That all they have to do is visualize it and feel as they already have it.

They believe that the affirmations and visualization exercises are enough to get them whatever they want, and then they wonder why nothing ever changes.

The real equation is:

attraction = attract + action

The attract part is the visualization techniques and affirmations. The action part is what YOU DO. You have to do the work to give yourself that extra push.

There’s an old Irish proverb that goes…

“You’ll never plow a field by turning it over in your mind.”

You have to act. You have to do whatever it takes to help you get ahead and make your dreams come true. Action combined with the new beliefs in your subconscious, will transform your life beyond your wildest dreams.

Let’s see why action is so important.

Reinforces belief

If you’re dreaming of getting a new car, and you’re visualizing daily and feeling the emotions of sitting in one and driving it…, that’s step one.

Action will be you going to the car dealership to look at the car, learn everything about it from the parts to the price, and even planning where you’ll get it washed.

The more you know, the stronger your beliefs will be. It will help with your visualization exercises too.

Opens up new opportunities

Following the above example, let’s assume you’re working a 9 to 5 job and you know your salary is never going to pay for the car you desire. What will you do?

Hope to strike the lottery? – But you’ve not even taken action to buy a lottery ticket. What will you do?

If you decide to start a side business to increase your income, that is action. Now you’ve given yourself more opportunities to manifest your goal.

Your side business may take off, and you may decide to quit your day job and focus on your business full-time. You’re raking in the profits and can now afford the car you’ve constantly been visualizing about.
That’s the power of action.

Helps you stay focused

Besides the benefits mentioned above, focused action keeps you on track. You know why you’re doing what you’re doing. It’s easy to get distracted by all the noise around you.

But when you’re focused on your goals and dreams and taking the necessary steps to make them come true, you’ll definitely get what you desire.

Prevents quitting

Action also gives you hope and prevents you from quitting. If all you ever do is visualize and make no other effort whatsoever, it’s easy to lose hope when what you want doesn’t seem to materialize.

When you’re acting on your dreams, not only does it help to keep you hopeful, but the time seems to pass faster, and you quickly manifest your desires. A watched pot never boils.

So, stop waiting and watching… and start doing instead.

Boosts self-confidence

When you do achieve the goals and dreams you set for yourself, and you look back on all your actions, you’ll develop self-confidence and know that you did it!

You paid the price to get what you wanted. There’s immeasurable power in that. Your self-esteem will not only get a boost, but you’ll be inspired to dream bigger and aim for better.

“You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.” – Gandhi.
