Start accepting yourself
Each individual has strengths and weaknesses, but instead of wishing to become someone else, you should use these as a way of improving yourself for the better. Learn to accept the truth that you are not perfect. Avoid exaggerating your strengths and hiding your weaknesses because it will do nothing to improve yourself. Look for ways to enhance yourself and you will be glad you did.
Be in total control
Don’t let other people tell you what and how you should become. It might be tempting to nod along with what other people tell you but the real decision solely depends on you. You just need to have realistic expectations of yourself and be comfortable with who you really are.
Always make plenty of room for growth
Self-awareness starts with understanding your own self. Learn to embrace imperfection, but never stop growing. Keeping your mind open to greater possibilities will help unleash your full potential. Other people may tell you that you are not good enough but you are the only one who knows what you can and cannot do.
There is no need to change yourself to feel a sense of belonging because people who truly accept you will love you just the way you are.
