Some of the leaders in the personal development community indicate that you become the “average” of the 5 people you spend the most time with. So in essence if most of those people are negative in general, then you start to become negative yourself.
It is why it is of uttermost importance that you choose well and spend more time with those who encourage you, those who motivate you and cheer you up in whatever circumstance you find yourself in.
Never hesitate to ask those that seem to be in a better mental state for some tips or gain access to learning more about some of their experiences. You do not have to take what they tell you as true to yourself but do take the information to formulate your own beliefs and experiences, take the information and learn to create new insights that will allow your creativity and ability to solve your own challenges in a much better and productive way.
A lot of successful people are good to look up to for your own growth, learn to distinguish the honest ones from those who seem positive but greedy or “fake” as the kind of advice you get from “successful but greedy” people is usually not the best.
Genuine people on the other hand have a natural “glow” to their faces that you just can’t see in fake people. Their vibes do feel a lot warmer and more comfortable to be around with.
If you are not sure of what you see, then look at your intuition for guidance.
