1. Begin with a little selfishness
I believe there has to be balance in everything, sometimes we give too little, and sometimes we give too much to the point of draining ourselves. At times we can live our lives in complete service of others; consequently we end up forgetting our unique essence. Before trying to find what you’re passionate about, it is important to get passionate about yourself and your time, this self-worth will drive you in all your endeavors
2. Push past the limits
Determine your own limits. Most people will try and define you and how far they think you should go. Do not accept to be a societal norm, choose your own path, if no one will take a risk on you then take a risk on yourself.
3. Get Curious
Curiosity will drive you to try and discover the many mysteries of life. It is life’s mysteries of life and inexplicable experiences that we stumble on the areas that we become truly in love and obsessed with.
4. Look at your thought patterns
As we grow older dreams begin to feel like delusions and figments of our imagination. Why not find a dream and make it a goal to work towards until it becomes a reality. You could also focus on that one activity that makes the whole world fall away and seems to inadvertently ease your stress.
5. Break the monotony
Nothing dulls the mind than doing one thing all the time in the same way. A dull mind like an unsharpened blade is capable of so much but slowly it becomes less than useful. Take up a new hobby or do a little travelling, seeing the world from a different perspective will draw new inspirations in you
6. The right crowd
Surround yourself with positive people, people who share common goals and dreams. Do not allow negativity in your life as it slows down the thought and creativity process.
